Murphy’s law
Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong - Murphy
A more detailed version of the saying phrase goes: “Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time, in the worst possible way”. Murphy’s law is also referred to as ‘Sod’s Law’. A few more laws of Murphy are:
- Things get worse under pressure.
- The chance of the buttered side of the bread falling face down is directly proportional to the cost of the carpet.
- A falling object will always land where it can do the most damage.
- The greater the value of the floor, the greater the probability that the cat will throw up on it.
- Inside every large problem is a small problem struggling to get out.
- The other line always moves faster.
- Anything good in life is either illegal, immoral or fattening.
- No good deed goes unpunished.
- Anything dropped in the bathroom will fall in the toilet.
- If you apply Murphy’s Law, it will no longer be applicable.
- You will never find any more loose change than you have already lost.

Ireland - near Dun Drum I think?
Hi People,
Well as some of you may (or may not know) I went to Ireland (to a place called: ‘Dun-Something, near ‘Dun Drum’) for a holiday thing, because my mum has a silver clay workshop (for more info on Mum’s business see http://www.artclaysupplies.co.uk/).
So because I have a nice long two-week long holiday before my S.A.T.S my parents brought me along. Today we went into Dublin, visited a park, bought a toothbrush that we forgot and ate an ice Cream (’Magnum Classic’ - good stuff). It has been fun and hopefully we are going fishing tomorrow and doing some more cool things as the week progresses.
Have you been to Ireland? If so what did you? - email me @ admin@trulyrandom.net.

World War Three?
Hi,
Are we living world war three?
The reason I say this is because so many countries are fighting everywhere and many countries are fighting other countries battles all over the world. Also if you have been watching the news over the past few years, you might have noticed that slowly many mini-wars have been going on. If the violence in the Middle East continues bubbling, it may start boiling. Who knows, England, America and many other countries fighting all these wars all over the places and the nuclear programmes developing…? <insert dramatic music here>
What is going to happen (your answers on a postcard to: The White House, USA)?

My Sisters spaceship design
Hi,
To all of you who have a younger sister (around 5 years old) you probably know she does some cute and funny (and sometimes annoying) things, but this is one of the weirdest things my sister has done.
The other day, just after tying her dolly to the car, she instantaneously decided to build a spaceship and incredibly the whole ship can be made out of only the following (someone should tell NASA);
1. Three Shirts (long sleeve)
2. Piece of string
3. Tin Foil
Apparently it has (in this order) 1. the Handlebar 2. the Front Engine 3. the Back Engine 4. A Sign telling the animals (whatever they are doing on there) ‘do not make too much noise’. I asked her why it doesn’t have anything else, no accomodation area or anything and she said the spaceship was only for short journeys and so didn’t need beds or toilets. I wonder where she is getting the funding from…
Thanks for Reading, Dan!
